Punishment for Class B Misdemeanor in Texas
PEN 12.22: An individual adjudged guilty of a Class B misdemeanor shall be punished by:
- a fine not to exceed $2,000;
- confinement in jail for a term not to exceed 180 days; or
- both such fine and confinement.
Enhanced Punishment for Class B Misdemeanor
Prior Class A or Class B Misdemeanor or any Felony:
- $2,000 maximum;
- 30 to 180 days in county jail; or
- Both
